New Hope’s primary support for mission outreach is through the connectional giving system of the United Methodist Church. Beyond connectional giving, church members support a number of outreach projects on an ongoing basis.
From March 2006-2009, New Hope has partnered with Christian Service International and Sidney First UMC to send teams to the Gulf Coast to repair churches and homes in the hardest hit areas of the Lower 9th Ward and in Chalmette, St. Bernard Parish. Mission focus for this year is Saylersville, KY torepair homes and complete church construction. The next trip is scheduled for November 13-20.
The church also supports the Alpha Community Center with evening worship and meal several times a year. The Agape Ministries food pantry is supported with canned goods received on the "Souper Bowl of Caring" timed to coincide with the NFL Superbowl.
